Not enough band width for Fire Stick

I can't watch anything from my fire stick without it stopping and reloading.  And says it cant run the title and/or there is not enough band width.  What do I need to do?

Hello @LANelson,

We're happy to help! When you are trying to use your Firestick, are there any other devices that are connected to your network that are not in use, such as an idle computer or game console? Have you recently tried to perform a SpeedTest to ensure that your network is working as effectively as possible?

Please let us know if you need any further assistance after trying these steps!

Even AT&T slowest 50mbits connection should be sufficient for a Firestick. The issues could be WiFi signal strength. The best test would be if the Firestick itself had its own speed test. Try to move your router either higher up or somehow closer to the Firestick.. Or, it could be connection saturation with competing devices in hour home network using up bandwidth. Do you have kids playing on one games or network security cameras? If so, turn those off and see if it gets better.

Att is just bad I have the same issue. I bet Xfinity looks better now. Att has a Garbo modem compared to Xfinity. Going to switch to Xfinity soon finally will be off Garbo att. In fact Xfinity upgraded our lines while att still hasn't done that. My brother always lags because of bandwidth. Hate to break it to you but att has the worst bandwidth on all their plans. This is true for wifi alone but Ethernet does a little better. That is so inconvenient though. One minute att works and the next thing it starts lagging. I think att may be throttling your device.
