AT&T equipment in my ditch

Question

I have an issue with the AT&T workers the work in the box in my ditch. They continue to leave wire pieces around the box. I mow in front of it weekly. This is a weekly issue. I have called AT&T several times and no one can get me to the right department. The people on the phone want to send someone out and one time they did. After that they wanted to charge me. I am not being charged for doing what I think should be their job. I have picked up wire time and time again. I want to know who to contact to get this situation corrected.

Hi,

The standard dispatch charge is $99 for any account-specific trouble. AT&T representatives usually quote this if they have your account pulled up. However, if you're calling regarding a AT&T junction box or pole that's not exclusive to your account, the case is handled by the AT&T POTS Repair team. They will create a maintenance ticket.

For SouthEast (Bellsouth) region, please call 877-737-2478, say "telephone repair".

For all others, please call 800-246-8464 option 1 for phone, then option 5.
