Gigabit fiber internet upload speed

I am currently using Cox internet, but upload speeds are only about 10% as fast as download speeds.  Is this also true of gigabit fiber or are upload speeds the same as download?

Re: Gigabit fiber internet upload speed

Direct fiber, meaning your address qualifies for 1000, is the same down/up.

Has 4 speed tier options... 100, 300, 500, 1000 at different price points.

If best address can receive is 100 or less down to 25, this is Fiber To The Node (FTTN) with last mile copper. Speed tiers based upon facilities and distance are 100/20, 75/20, 50/10, 45/6, 25/5, 25/2.

Note all ATT Uverse platform speed tiers have 1T data cap. Unlimited is available for extra $30, or bundle with DirecTv or Uverse IPTV to have unlimited fee waived.
