No VPN connection for MAC
Hello,
I have a problem with AT&T Global Network Client. In my workplace, all people that use MAC (with Sierra) don't connect to corporate VPN.
I updated the client with last hotspot release (24 March), but this don't resolve the problem.
AGNCSupport.log says:

Hello,
The current AGNC MAC version does not support Sierra at this time. Please continue to look for updates on the website for a new version with support for Sierra.

Hi,
The same problem caused us to waste a lot of time today (various versions of MacOS)...
After investigation, we could only guess that connectivity (or something else) is tested in the client application by trying to request or ping *.business.att.com hosts, which all of the sudden started to respond with 301 Moved Permanently header instead of 200 OK.
A quick temporary solution is to add to your /etc/hosts two entries that would point to anything that does respond with 200, perhaps could event be local machine's address. In our case it is something like:
This workaround made it possible for us to move on with work.
Unfortunately, the GNC client application is causing me huge problems on new MacBook Pro & Sierra, basically on some machines it does work, on some does not 😞

There was an issue identified that has been resolved. The AGNC should connect on supported versions of MAC.

My Mac/Sierra machine has been flawlessly connecting to AT&T network using AGNC for almost a year now until Weds morning. I installed Sierra 10.12.5 on Tuesday (5/16) evening and haven't been able to connect to AT&T using AGNC since then.
I've un-reinstalled AGNC from www.corp.att.com/agnc/mac several times as well as deleting and provisioning new tokens with new pins for past 2 days. The token verification websites always come back at successful, but AGNC wont connect.
I did as pkaras.kaliop stated above... pinged www.business.att.com, got address 23.63.152.44
added to my etc/hosts:
23.63.152.44 www.business.att.com
23.63.152.44 business.att.com
but still have the same problem.
Have been in contact with AT&T support past two days and no mention of anything wrong with AGNC or any version of Sierra.
Any other work arounds out there? or did I miss something in my interpretation of the work around above?

Still no update to AGNC for supporting Sierra 10.12.5.
AGNC site still shows 1.7.0 and I'm not able to get in since Wednesday morning 5/17.
I've heard that Cisco AnyConnect is an option but not sure there is a version for remote IBMers to get into the AT&T network, I've only seen versions for AT&T employees' use. Any non-AT&T employees using Cisco AnyConnect on their Mac to get into the AT&T network?

Hello, version 1.7.1 was removed - it did not include any support for Sierra or any other changes. We will modify the Version History to remove reference to version 1.7.1.

Is there a rough ETA for the AGNC fix to support Sierra 10.12.5?
Is there a version of Cisco AnyConnect that non-AT&T employees can use, if so, where do I get that from?
