AT&T Global Network Client version 9.1.0.3006 crashes after connnecting to VPN
We have a couple of laptops running windows XP experiencing the same issue. The global network client will launch and we can connect to VPN but then the application crashes even though the VPN connection is still active. The only way to kill the VPN session is to reboot or disable the AGN virtual Network Adapter under contol panel - network connections. Attached are the support logs generated.

Development reviewed the logs you provided and here is their response:
It is a known “IPv6 problem” on XP machines i.e. IPv6 is not installed on these XP machines which makes client to save empty focus collector address to database and later it causes a null pointer reference exception when it attempt to access the focus collector to upload focus records.
This issue is fixed in v9.1.1.
Customer can try 2 things.
a) They can try with v9.1.1 beta to see if the problem goes away
ftp://ftp.attglobal.net/pub/client/win32/beta/agnc_vpn.exe
b) They can try running following command from Command prompt “IPv6 install” and then run the client using following command line argument “c:\program files\AT&T Global Network Client\NetClient.exe –InitOnly” (this will reset the database if the database has a saved empty focus collector address) before they actually make use client to make connections.
Please let us know if either of these solutions resolve your issue.
Thank you.
