When the AT&T Global Network Client 8.0 or 8.0.1 restores a connection using the Persistent Connection feature, a message box comes up and saying "VPN Server connection restored using Ethernet". Now the problem is that as long as this message box is not closed by a click, it consumes over 50% CPU.
There was an issue in the client where under some circumstances the dialog would be continually redrawn which caused excessive use of the CPU. This issue has been corrected in Version 8.0.2
