@Stevefrey - are you using the mobile app because it hasn't been updated in years and won't be now that the MicroCell has been discontinued. Register and activate your MicroCell thru you myAT&T MicroCell Settings page.
If you bought the MicroCell used, it could also be that the original owner did not deactivate it and that's why there is a registration error. AT&T is very reluctant to deactivate a MicroCell account because they have no way of determining who the legitimate owner is.
I would consider WiFI-C (WiFi Calling) if your phone is capable of that. It offers better call quality and is more reliable. AT&T is not selling the MicroCells anymore and Support will be pretty much useless because they will just try to get you to upgrade to WiFi-C. Besides, AT&T will eventually pull the plug on the MicroCell connecting to the mobility servers so there's no telling how much longer the MicroCell will even work.
