Probably a dumb question

Can you or would it help the wifi signal on a laptop, if you put it on the approved list of devices of your microcell?

@1974Shovelhead - No. The MicroCell transmits a cellular 3G signal, not WiFi. It is intended to work will cellular phones who are registered to the AT&T cellular network via a post paid cellular account.

It's possible that it could help but it just depends. You should try it and see if it helps. There have been situation where that has and hasn't worked. So really you'd have to try it.

No. The microcell is for 3g talk and text.  Data is always provided by your Wifi.

If you have a connection problem, trouble shoot with your internet provider.  Perhaps your equipment is old and failing.
