Hi there @tenease,

This is a great question! We know how important it is to be able to connect to the network. I would love to provide additional information.

You mentioned your Microcell is dead, are you unable to connect any of your phones to this device? Is your Microcell unable to power on? When you power on, are there any flashing red lights?

All Microcell devices come with a one year warranty. If your device is under the one year, we are more than happy to look over replacement options. We also invite you to visit any AT&T Retail location to purchase a new Microcell.

In the meantime, we have a wonderful feature available which works just as great as the Microcell. This feature is called Wi-Fi Calling and is available for compatible devices. The best part is, it is completely free! I use this feature myself and love how I am able to connect to any Wi-Fi network whenever I am in a weak or poor location. We have a great Device Support tool which offers a step by step guide to help set up this feature.

I hope the information provided helps! Have a great rest of your day!

No. The MicroCell's are not repairable in the sense that you send it in, they fix it, and return it to you. I think we covered that in a previous reply. Your MicroCell may not be dead but we need to know how you determined it was dead. It could be as simple as a failed ac adapter. If you are out of the warranty period then you will have to purchase a new MicroCell hopefully at a discount. Depending on the particular CS Agent you talk to you, they may send you a refurb unit for free but that is not a guarantee nor is it company policy.

AT&T is pushing WiFi-C (WiFi Calling) which is a better option than the MicroCell because call quality and reliability is much better. However, you need to have a WiFi-C capable phone.
