Hi @garyrurban,

There is another option called Wi-Fi Calling. It is free and uses your internet connection.  You can find more information about it here.

That would be correct.  With the number of Wifi calling capable phones sold in the past 2 years, ATT has stopped restocking the microcell and will stop supporting it at end of 2018.

You May be able to buy one off eBay.  Make sure the previous owner unregistered it or it will not work for you.

A postpaid Account and wired internet are required to operate.

The alternative is own a Wifi call capable phone on postpaid account

@garyrurban - As stated above, online sales have stopped. It may still be possible to obtain a new one at a corporate/retail store while inventory lasts but that won't last long. eBay would be your next option but there are caveats to that (see my Tech Guide, link in my sig line). AT&T is supposed to support the MicroCell thru 2018 but I doubt that they will actually support it. So if you have issues, this will be the only place to get help, as long as we continue to do so.

WiFi-C is your best option if  you phone is capable of that.
