Bad coverage

Have very bad cell coverage.
Went to att store and asked how Or if there was a product that I could buy for a better signal and the guy was clueless and could not help me.
Called customer service and the lady told me about a micro cell tower that costs $149 with a $75 rebate. Checked out rebate and it expired 2 days ago.
Heard that I might be able to get one of these free? Any suggestions. Have a 6 month old baby at home and need cell coverage.
Will have to check out other cell providers or landline providers if att can't help.

Re: Bad coverage

It is possible to get a free MicroCell even though it is not corporate policy. If you have a documented history of poor cellular coverage Support may offer you one. It can't hurt to try. If you have a phone that is capable of WiFi calling (WiFi-C) then you don't need a MicroCell. There are some caveats to successfully setting up a MicroCell (see my Tech Guide, link in my sig) so you might want to check that out first. There are also cellular boosters that work quite well but they can be a bit pricey .

Re: Bad coverage

Thanks for your help. I did call ATT and explained my situation and the poor cell coverage and they are sending one out free . I was trying to read your Tech Guide to get some pointers before setting up the micro cell and unable to link to it. Any suggestions? Thanks

Re: Bad coverage

The current $75 mail-in rebate will only be available to active AT&T subscribers who purchased an AT&T MicroCell between 11/18/2014 – 11/17/2016.

The rebate must be postmarked by 12/17/16, received by 1/1/17 and the rebate Form can be printed from the following link: Click here to open PDF

Thanks,

Dmitriy
