We just bought a Sony 4K 3D television and ordered The Martian in 3D. We had our Sony 3D glasses on and the film was unwatchable. The background was always blurry. The only time the picture was clear was on close-up shots.Does anyone have a solution for us? SO disappointed! PS The movie cost $8.00!

Downloaded a 3D movie to watch and went to play and it says that my TV does support ALL the resolutions. Was connected through my 3D capable surround sound that works just fine with my 3D Blue Ray player so I connected the HDMI cable directly to the TV. Now when I try to play it, it says my TV doesn't support 1080i resolution and still won't play.

TV: Samsung PN64F8500; Current receiver: Genie. Tried to watch Hobbit/Five Armies in 3D today. Got a 797 message (TV does not support 1080i,1080p/60 for 3D natively). TV DOES support those modes (and is set to 3D side/side mode during attempts). With old receiver (HR24) I was able to watch other 3D movies on this same TV (with identical setup connectivity - HDMI, etc). I ...

I upgraded to a genie and the RVU server so I could use my new Samsung 4K 3D TV. I no longer have a directv box as the server is in the tv. I upgraded so that I would be able to view 4K. I am now unable to view 3D directv movies as tv is not using hdmi. 4K movies from directv are too expensive at $15.99., so I don't view them. I can watch 4k content on Netflix, youtube et...

Is there a standard (preferred?) TV resolution to view 3D content based on DirecTV's 3D content broadcast? I hope I'm asking this correctly.

I just bought a 60" 4K Smart Led Samsung with 3D. I am unable to view 3D channels on Directv as apparently the 60" model is not compatible. Seems improbable. Has anyone else had same or different experience with 60" TV and 3D?

I came from Verizon fios where they had much better 3D offerings. I had no issue watching 3D content when my box was connected to the xbox one's HDMI in. The xbox then connects directly to the TV. I can't seem to do this with the genie mini. It acts like the tv isn't 3D capable. Any work around to this? The Xbox is 3D capable. Seems like DirecTV shouldn't do a handshake t...
