Sony compatibility

I just bought a Sony KDL-46HX850.  Anyone know if it's directv 3d compatible as is, or if it needs something else or not?

Thanks

New TVs shouldn't have any problem.

I also think that new Televisions must not have this problem.I think you should contact the shopkeeper from where you purchased the television.

Thanks all - it works fine in 3D.  The Directv website had me worried.  Someone should update it!

You're right, I think they should just get rid of it as it just causes people problems and all of the newer TVs will work. They could have a list of ones that won't work.
