How do I return this modem and use the money to buy equipment for time warner cable?  

I am sick of troubleshooting,  HOURS of my lifetime I will never get back for this service that is never up to promised speed and now has made my home phone useless without a dial tone,   
 
Are you people trying to make my head explode with rage on purpose or something?  

This is now officially my worst customer service experience of all time.  It surpasses the frustration I have had with the cable companies and a wireless provider that I had to argue with for four hours just to get a math error corrected.  YOU ARE THE WORST.   I used to like ATT, but now I officially want to get  away from anything to do with you.  Unfortunately, I need internet.  


BUT I ALSO NEED MY PHONE.  
SO once again I am on the hunt for my own solution to fix this - wasting more of my own time researching and troubleshooting and solving,  I should not have to do this,  I don't want to do this.  I am looking for any company as an alternative so that I don't have to do it anymore.   

This modem is a piece of garbage I could have gotten for 20 bucks online, and your people are charging 100  for it?  You are all criminals.  This is not a free market, it is insanity.  There are not enough profane words in all the languages in the world to accomodate the describing of this experience.  ATT IS A TOILET BOWL. 


DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO GET MY MAGIC JACK 2014 WORKING WITH THIS?
