POP access Old bellsouth

Greetings,

I learned that:

"Re: SSL problem when using POP to retrieve AT&T.net email
Use this POP server: inbound.att.net
on Port 995. Fixed this problem for me"

This is not true for the old bellsouth.net email account.  Do you have a solution?  If you do not know please forward my inquiry to the right person.  It has taken me more than a month without finding someone or someway to fix it.  Terrible is it not?

Thank you for your help.  JC
