New and Improved Rarely Is

AT&T needs a feedback link. Their "new and improved" email services are anything but. My Email is now slower, signs me out despite clicking the 2 week option (just now did it in the middle of checking my email) and now asks me to verify my password every time I sign in so I have to do it twice! What's worse, the "saved" password in the box is always wrong and I have to manually type it in. What a joke. Oh ... and I may never get this posted as it keeps asking me to "Select a Board", which I've done multiple times only to get the same error message!

I have the same problems intermittently, but I consistently cannot remove headers from original email I am forwarding, nor can I edit original email content when forwarding. ATT has a lot of work to do here. I like to maintain my friends' privacy by removing the headers, and I sometimes cannot forward an email without editing it for one reason or another. Sometimes it is awkward or misleading wording, sometimes language I do not want to forward, so I clean it up. It did work fine, but now it is new and improved!  I am considering trying an old fashioned, not new and improved, email. I also hit my head against the "select a board" thing over and over...finally gave up.

The best cure for crappy web-based email is to not use it. Find a third party email client (i use Outlook) and you'll never have to visit the website again except to make changes to accounts.

A third party email client allows much greater control over how you save or send (or forward) your email, as well as greatly improved message filtering and contact management.

The webmail has only gotten worse over the years, and it's only purpose, it seems, is to shove ads in your face.
