Dsl internet speed slow.

I used U-verse(30%$ per mouth) before, and it is perfect both gaming and downloading(about 1mb/sec). Now, i use the DSL Elite internet(about 35$ per mouth) which is better on gaming without laggy. But it is very slow on downloading is about 100-700kb/sec and never up to 1mb. Sometims, i cannot even load a website. The plan show me that the maximum speed should be 6 mb/sec. So is that any suggestion for me? thanksCat Very Happy
