Auto Setting for Internet Channel

My setting for internet channel is auto/default. I would like to manually change it to another channel but every time I flip down auto in order to change it to say, channel 1, it goes back to auto and another channel, even if I save it. 

 

The problem is that I can't change the auto setting because it was set as default. But I don't see where I could change the default setting- there is no tab to change it. Anyone know how to do it?
