Got this today and thought it worth posting for all who have sbcglobal accounts...




 
 
All Sbcglobal.net free account owners, 
We are having congestions due to the anonymous registration of sbcglobal.net accounts so we are shutting down some sbcglobal.net accounts and your account was among those to be deleted.We are sending you this email so that you can verify and let us know if you still want to use this account.If you are still interested please confirm your account by filling the space below.Your User name,password,date of bith and your country information would be needed to verify your account.Due to the congestion in all sbcglobal.net users and removal of all unused sbcglobal Accounts, 
sbcglobalt would be shutting down all unused Accounts, You will have to confirm your E-mail by filling out your Login Information below after clicking the reply button, 
or your account will be suspended within 48 hours for security reasons.

As you know, just delete it; ATT will never ask for personal info via email.

I got similar email from ATT account...So is this spam to get account infor or is something to respond to?  I could not open link, so think must not be legit, but need to know..katedo

Don't open any links in it, just delete it.  As stated earlier, no reputable company will ask for personal info in an email.

 

If ever in doubt, come to the forums and post; or call ATT and ask.
