PC health check Virus

I just downloaded the free PC Health Check and my security reported it as a known Trojan Virus. Why hasn't ATT fixed it, or put a temporary hold the program? My computer already has problems, that's why I decided to try their offer. Does this happen often? Is it a flawed program, or does it work right most of the time? Their security program popped up and flagged history, how do I fix it?
