IPv4 vs IPv6

IPv4 vs IPv6

I have been reading that the Internet Gatekeepers are running out of IP Addresses under the older system (IPv4). The newer system (IPv6) creates new IP addresses that are not compatible with the IPv4. Does AT&T have any plans to change to the IPv6? If so, what is the impact to your customers? Thanks in Advance.

Re: IPv4 vs IPv6

Hello smbc_treasurer,

I truly appreciate that you took your valuable time to let us know your query about the compatibility between the AT&T Internet service and IP v 6.

Presently, AT&T services are not compatible with the IP v 6. Once AT&T services will be compatible with IP v 6, you'll get the update about the same and the terms and conditions to avail those services.
