Confusing term adjustment

Hi "COMMUNITY MANAGERS",

I am really being disappointed by the billing of ATT. Last month my account balance was shown as CR $275, because ATT admitted that i was overcharged. But this month the balance shows as CR $45 Now the CR $230 is lost and that made me screwed up. After doing a little browsing i figured out that $230 comes under adjustment.

When I go to My payment history $230 also appears as a transaction on that payment history list and shows as a type of credit card transaction. This $230 appears inside a bracket so what i assumed is it is negative.

So I am really confused what that means if an amount is in payment i have made so far but negative, and they dont have any notes with it.Do they keep my credit card information So that they refund directly? WOW! I doubt if they really know what they are doing. I am thinking of going to FCC or BBB if I am not refunded.

I woulkd appreciate if anyone would e able to explain it to me.

Thanks.
