Can I enable wireless on my 2Wire Gateway?

Can I enable wireless on my 2Wire Gateway?

I just bought a Kindle Fire and want to have my own wifi but I'm using a wired 2Wire Gateway modem/router. Is there some way to get wireless enabled? Is it possible to have wired and wifi at the same time with the same modem, or would I have to switch everything to wireless? I'm looking for the least expensive solution.

Sure on these deivces you can run both. The Fire should have a wireless setup routine for attaching to a wireless access point. Yours should be a 2WIRE### that has the numbers the same as the last 3 numbers of your serial number..
