ATT High Speed Internet

Although ATT's website says they are constantly expanding their high speed territory this is not the case.  I live in a semi-rural area within 15 miles of a state capitol and a the largest resort area in the midwest.  High speed cable was installed here nearly 7 years ago yet ATT does not provide high speed service.   This entire area is still dealing with dial-up internet service.  The word is ATT will not provide high speed service because they believe the state and federal government will eventually provide financial assistance to them to proceed.  disgusting!

Hi madmoney,

Welcome to the Community.  Thanks for hanging in there.  There are several factors that determine service availability.  The following solution provides an overview..

http://www.att.com/esupport/article.jsp?sid=KB400183 (may need to specify HSI DSL as service type to view solution)

If you haven't done so already, once you check availability, you can register your email to receive updates.

Regards,

Alex
