AT&T expects its customers to pay for security issues on AT&T's network

Contacted customer support because my computer ports are constantly being scanned from the same IP address {Personal content removed for safety}. There are literally thousands of complaints on the internet about this address.  When speaking to the agent they said the problem was beyond their level and would have to charge me a fee to speak to higher level technician.

 

This is ridiculous! All they have to do is blacklist this address which is a known offender. Seriously considering cancelling my account.  Has anyone else had this problem?
