AT&T Won't Stop Internet Service despite several requests
I called several times to ask AT&T to let me go. They disconnected by phone service (as requested), but won't stop the internet service. They keep on billing too! So, guess what happened? Well, they kept on billing, and we kept on paying. And then on March 19, they tell us we owe them $108.39. And then on March 21, they send us another bill saying they, AT&T, owe us $228.96 (we overpaid!). So, they have the money. And then separately, they hound me for late payments. I just don't get it.
What exactly needs to be done to make them stop giving me a service I do NOT want? How do I get heard and be understood by AT&T that I want them to stop my internet service with them? Calling and being nice has not worked so far.
