Can you record more than 20 hours

At this time, no.  If you set a recording that would take you past the 20 hours, it will delete some already recorded programs (probably the oldest) to make space.  They have promised for months that they will provide an option to add additional space and retention time (for a fee) but for whatever reason this has not yet happened.

Not at this time with the DTVN DVR.

As @Jrandomuser said they have said they plan to offer more time and longer retention but no details have been announced.

There are third-party solutions to recording more, one is PlayOn:
