I also got the same notification. Had to reset my ID to an email address.

I did that and now I can't log into AT&T TV NOW. How sick is that.

I can log into AT&T so my email and password are correct. I'll try chat now. Hopefully there's someone around on a sunday.

Problem solved by itself before I got to chat. Guess I had to wait longer.

When I try to reset my password it resets my at&t acct, not my at&t tv now acct. So there's no way to reset my password for at&t tv now.

Those two things should be the same - 2+ years ago they made a big deal about merging all the services into a single account and login.  Apparently they never quite finished that?  My original login for DirecTV Now was an email address, then they has me change it to a non-email format (and it was the same for all my AT&T services as a single account.  Now I am getting notices that I need to change that (single) login back to an email format - though I am told by Support it doesn't need to be an actual email address, it just needs to be in the format of one.  I think your best bet is to contact Support, find out what they actually want your account setup and login to be, and have them fix it if needed...

@Supton01

As far as I know when you change your userID, it changes on every AT&T service you were using the ID on.

When you change you password however, it's only for that service where you changed the password.

Judging from what you wrote, you changed your password at AT&T website. If this is correct, could you try changing it in your AT&T TV NOW account. You can get there by using the link below. You may have to enter you AT&T TV NOW credentials.
