Trying to keep my recordings longer than 90 days. Is there a way to do that ?

I doubt that talking about such methods is allowed on this board. I have no idea how to message you privately, but there are a few ways. If someone could direct me to the private InBox/Send page, I can give you some answers to this question, assuming this web site has such a capability.
the private messaging was removed with the last forum upgrade/downgrade
there are many things with the new forum format that no one can understand why they did what they did but its way beyond my pay grade

That is the restriction. Nothing you can do about it.
Switch to Youtube TV.
The forum system was replaced basically because the vendor of the service AT&T used merged with a competitor and fairly suddenly ended support for that system. AT&T apparently didn't like the replacement service that vendor offered and went with a different vendor. They have re-added some of the missing features and are working on adding more, but it is apparently a slow process...
As far as keeping things longer than the provided retention period, the only option that comes to mind is to play the recording and capture the stream. Because of HDCP, the capture will need to be analog (or otherwise compliant with HDCP), or will need to use devices that defeat HDCP. My experience is the latter is unlikely to work well - many devices' HDCP support is glitchy even when the usage is valid (especially going through HDMI switches), and is of course a violation of the DMCA.
How can we improve?
