You ripped me off after several years as a loyal customer!!!

Post-paid...USA.

AT&T screwed me...I have been a longtime customer for many years...U-Verse and wireless.

Nearly 2 years ago, my personal wireless account was folded into a corporate account for my job...my account should have been closed...yet, AT&T continued to bill me for an associated inactive number that had no service, data and not a single text...they continued to pull the funds from my bank account to the tune of $940 before I caught it...they had the gaul to say I owed an additional $269!!!

Not only do I not owe this conglomerate $269, they owe ME $940!!!

I have been turned over to collection...I have since moved to Verizon and am considering action in small claims court...on principle!

Trust me, I will recount this story on every social media platform I can find!!!!!!!!

Greetings @srw1662!

We like to advise that the drafted amount is likely the outstanding balance on your personal account considering prior to transferring to a corporate account a full payoff of the remaining installment balance of the previous account is required.

We hope this info helps!

If you had 2 lines l and only moved one, it was up to you to cancel the second line by calling ATT.  Does not matter that you weren’t using it.
