Why is ATT&T stealing money and getting away w/it?!

I was charged twice for my bill this month. I have it on auto pay and had I not been looking through my bank account I would not have known. When I called to correct it the employee acted like she couldn’t see what I was talking about and even asked if I could see my bill. OF COURSE I CAN SEE I had been charged twice...why would I call to complain if I couldn’t?!

Supposedly after 20 minutes of a run around she refunded the money continually repeating, “no worries”.  WRONG! I am worried and frustrated with the situation! I asked to speak with a manager but she said no one was in yet. Then she told me they were in a meeting. She would not give me her employee ID. Only that her name was “John” but she pronounced it Jen, (she of course had an accent I could barely decipher and I can only assume she was outsourced).

I’d like to file a formal complaint and I’d like some retribution. I am NOT a happy customer! For all of the money I pay for the crappy service I receive I think I’m due a little more than, “no worries”.

Those are two different things. Did you actually answer the question.

Define "charged twice this month." Do you mean 2 payments for the same amount were debited on the same date? Or do you mean you have two AT&T payments in some period of time you're calling "a month?" Some autopay dates have changed, so that might be what is causing the confusion.

Why do you pay for crappy service? If the service isn't to your liking, find another provider.

If you are paying by credit card, or a debit processed as a credit card, your payment may be taken 6 days after the bill is posted, rather than 19 days after.

If that’s the case, yo were notified by email 2 months early.
