Why did I get a $1 bill after I closed my account early by 3 days?

I cancelled my account on 11/27/2020 and the woman I did this with on the phone never sent me the email confirmation. Then I got a bill for $1 something you all are claiming I owe. Why? I received confirmation that you had received my equipment I sent via UPS as recommended. This is what I'm trying to find out!

This is the forum for wireless (i.e. cell phone) questions. If you have equipment to return, I think you're in the wrong spot. What service are you talking about?
