Where's my $700 Credit for Trade In
I switched to AT&T because they offered $700 credit with phone trade in (beginning with $40 phone value) November 2019. The store clerk assured that I am eligible for the credit and I will be getting device fee off of my monthly billing cycle. However, after 1.5 years nothing has changed and every time I call customer service, it's minimum 2 hours of wait and 3 hours of explaining same situation with no resolution. I have filed a claim, escalated but there's been no movement whatsoever. I would not have changed services and I would not have chosen unlimited plan that I don't need if it weren't for this $700 offer. Seems like AT&T is NOTORIOUS for their Trade In fraud and horrible customer service. How can I put an end to this issue?
+ I never got my $300 Reward Visa card that they promised as well.

I did not receive my trade in credit as well!
I will cancel AT&T as so as I pay off this darn phone. I hate being conned!

I had the exact same experience. I've called dozens of times and had two cases opened. A guy from customer loyalty promised that I would get $700 soon a year ago and opened a case for me. But still, nothing. It's been two years now. Every time I talk to someone, either over the phone or via online chat, they just keep saying "sorry" but would not give me anything. Because that promise was made over the phone and they never sent me a confirmation afterwards as they promised, I do not have any proof and they just don't admit it!! Horrible.
