VERY DISAPPOINTED IN AT&T Service (Paid my bill and still no service for 48+ hours)

I've been on the phone with AT&T customer support for 2 days now, because they turned off my service. They told me it would be back on in 24 hours, well, it's already 48 hours and STILL NO PHONE SERVICE.

Their customer support keeps telling me to call the Collections department, because they are the ones who can turn my phone services back on. I call the Collections and they tell me that my balance is $0 and that I don't owe anything and that my service should be back on now. They don't know what's happening.


AT&T, what is going on? I've been a customer for 10+ years, loyal customer. I bought the package they had with Direct TV a long time ago and I cancelled my account with Direct TV 3 months ago, but instead of just closing Direct TV, I guess with time, they decided to cancel my phone service too ( I have several phones under one plan).


This is unacceptable; I'm very unhappy with this. All of the AT&T agents I spoke with say clearly see the confirmation number of payment, BUT the system hasn't turned on my services yet. I spoke with over 50 agents, because I need my phone service, it's slowing down my work, my business is suffering because of it.


Any help is greatly appreciated.
