Unable to track returned phone using the tracking number provided on the label
I received a replacement phone on Saturday morning of July 1st, 2016 for a damaged phone. After I received the replacement phone, I mailed my original damaged phone in the box provided by Asurion with the prepaid return label. (on July 6, 2016)
It has been about a week and the damaged phone has not been received by Asurion, yet. I keep getting a text message in reference to the damaged unit device needing to be returned.
The tracking number provided can't be tacked by tracking website.
I followed exact directions on the instruction that they sent with the phone, what else can I do to avoid warning message and extra charges on my account?
Please help.

@pkimoh Which tracking web site? Did you try http://tracking.newgistics.com
It's a very slow process. I called two weeks after I mailed it and they AT&T couldn't decide if they got it back yet. The did (and they only decided this since I had the tracking info the showed that it arrived).
I wish they sent a text when it arrived.
Do you still have the receipt from mailing it at the post office to prove you mailed it? This will help you from getting charged.
Make sure that this (or next) billing cycle they charge you the restocking fee. Call immediatly to get that removed if they do.

Show them your receipt from the post office.

I’m having the same issue. I mailed my old phone back over a week ago. The tracking label doesn’t show it has entered the mail system yet and I don’t have a receipt from the post office because I used the prepaid mailing label as instructed. What can I do to keep from being charged?

What do you mean "tracking label"? Did you keep a copy of the label?
Did the label tell you to not get a receipt?
Just keep checking the tracking system. Check at both:
If you see any record of it in either, print it out. And don't lose whatever it is that has the tracking number on it.
