Trying to make me pay for a phone they have

Well the nightmare started in October 2023. I ran into the sales rep and switched services. Never got my phones from that sale. I had to call and get a refund and Start the process all over . I then Receive my five phones. They sent me the wrong phone. Everyone eles received the correct phone.They then put the wrong IMEI number to the wrong phone number so my daughter was receiving all my calls and text. We went in to the store they sorted it out . Then they sent me the phone I was supposed  to get and I sent the the phone  I was supposed to get back . I got my confirmation email with the number stating they reverse the phone November 9th 2023. By December I received  a email saying I was being charged $777 for the phone as they never received it . Ummm no!! I CALL 2hour phone call and finally was confirmed they had the phone. The next month I get over a $1000 bill saying I owe $777 for the phone 🤦‍♀️ call again speak to 3 people 😑 all fixed nothing to be concerned about.  Guess what it's on there again . Call again speak  to 2 people  rest assure the situation is resolved this is what I'm told. Guess what I wake up to my phone disconnect yep due to a outstanding balance. Now here it is the March 2024 and they tell me my service is off due to the unpaid balance from the phone.I try to give them the confirmation number from the email that say they received it and they tell me they can't use there confirmation that they sent me Proving they received have my item. They need me to yet again find my tracking number so they can track the phone that they verified receiving November 9th 2023. My question Shouldn't your confirmation number be enough? Why should my tracking number have to help you find a item you have had and confirmed having months ago? And since I have called 3 times for this and it says by law We must record this conversations and each individual I spoke to said they put a lot of notes in the system so that nothing would get confused. Then why can't you get the tracking a number from them conversations ? I mean, are you lying? Are they really not recorded conversations? And your employees are just supposed to tell us that they're taking notes.? And then I'm told rest assure, ma'am If you get us the tracking number again, we will take the phone off your bill. Oh yeah! I've heard that one before, so now Here I am with no service on my phone and the $777 on my bill For a phone that they have in their possess consumer screwed

Or you can just save both of us a lot of time in trouble, just file a better business bureau complaint online. And while you're waiting for a call back, gather all of your receipts whether virtual or physical and make sure you have them on hand

Just follow a better business bureau complaint online. Better business bureau complaints are forwarded to AT&T upper Management and someone will contact you.

I see absolutely no point in contacting AT&T waiting on hold, only to hear the same song and dance you've already heard
