Transfer of Billing Responsibility

So I am moving off my my dad’s plan because he is switching carriers, but I want to keep my phone/line with AT&T. He went through the process on the app transferring it to me, which I received the email and followed the link to accept the transfer. I am a secondary account owner on my dad’s account so I used the same email to accept the transfer. Everything went fine, I picked out my plan and went through the credit check and everything so it was completed successfully. Right after, I received an email saying that I needed to verify my email address for the account number ending in ****. I verified it and then today I logged into my account and I’m still a secondary owner on my dad’s account. I tried using the option to link my account to my myAt&T account but it said it already existed. I tried signing out and back in and I also tried to re-accept the transfer through the original email link, but got a notice that there weren’t any existing transfers. Should I just wait or try to request responsibility again?
