Trade In Not Added to new iPhone Order

When purchasing the new iPhone 14 Pro Max from AT&T today, the order entry screen asks if you are trading in a device. Then it asks which device and the condition. I answered all the questions and submitted my order. I never received a confirmation email and when I looked up my order number (I screenshot the order confirmation screen) I saw my order but did not see a corresponding trade in confirmation. My wife’s phone order had her trade in info attached but mine did not. So I called customer service and after waiting on hold for 30 min (expected wait due to iPhone launch day) and the agent told me he will just send me a packet for trade in. He collected all my phone’s info and processed the trade in packet to be mailed to me. That’s great but does anyone know if that will solve my issue?  I’m expecting a $1000 for my trade in.

We recommend reviewing our article on how does upgrading every year with att work and follow steps provided in article.

As long as we see that the device is sent in and meets our eligibility requirements, you will receive the credits.
You can also review steps on how to return your trade in to Att.
