Trade in device for a new one.

So,i was stoped by 2 att representatives at Bj with an offer to exchange my device for a new one if i bring my number at att.I was told that i would be paying around 70 a month for everything and i had to pay at least 3 billing cycles before changing to another provider if i wanted to without having to pay anything else. That doesnt make any sense .Now i received the first statemant and it says i would be paying arpund 100 a month for everything.I would have my discount for the trade in for the e months that would bring my bill down at around 70 bucks. So the things i was told were a lie to make the sale and again i understand my fault for not reading carefully everything. My question is is there a grace period that i can break the contract and i dont owe anything?if yes how many days do i have since i signed to leave without penalties?

There is a 14 day return period.  After that, you’re stuck with it and have to pay off your phone to be able to port out.

Hello @Vukamaks,

We understand where you are coming from, and this isn't the way we want you to feel about our services. Let's get the information you are looking for.

Like the Ace mention, you can return the device within the BRE period of 14 days. Yes, it can be done in-store; however, we recommend you returning the device via mail as you can track the device on a regular basis.

You can refer to return or exchange a new device or accessory for more information.

Let us know if the above information helps!

If you're within the 14 days, you should port your number back to the old provider and return the phone where you bought it.

To clarify the promotion. When you trade in a qualifying phone and have a qualifying unlimited plan, you will receive bill credits to offset the installment plan payments. The credits start after 3 billing cycles and continue each month until you've received 36 months worth.
