Taxes/Fees on Unlimited Extra

Hi, I am trying to figure out taxes that are charged on an Unlimited Extra plan. I currently have an Unlimited Value Plan and considering changing. If someone can give me a breakdown of what their bill looks like it would be appreciated. I want to see what I may be looking at. I understand that it is state dependent but any info would be appreciated.

Hello @mahkprz,

We can definitely provide you with some more information on this. Your monthly bill's taxes and fees will either increase or decrease, depending on the price difference of your new plan compared to your old plan, as well as the tax rate of your local government. Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.

AT&T is completely useless when it comes to specific questions/answers. LOL.

What plan do you currently have? My taxes on a $20.00 line fee is hovering around $4.50, does this mean that if my new line fee on the new plan if the fee is $40.00 would be about $10.00 in taxes per line? sounds like an awful lot......Thoughts????

I changed from mobile share Valùe to unlimited value, to a current unlimited plan. Taxes didnt change more than a few cents per line, less than $5 for my entire account.

Unlimited with $40 line fee.
Remember $1.99 is AT&T admin fee, which doesn't change.
Despite my line access going from $15, to $20, to $40, my taxes didn't change much.
5 phone and 1 tablet, and total gir fee/tax is under $25

If you live in Connecticut or state with similar tax, which it seems you might be. My taxes and fees on the Mobile Share value plan were about $4.54 per line when I switched to the unlimited plan

Florida is where I am. OK, so like me I have the Mobile Share unlimited (grandfather plan) and my taxes on a $20.00 line fee is about $4.50-$5.00. So when you upgraded to the new plans the AT&T Unlimited Extra plan at $40.00 per line, what is the tax now compared to the past plan? and can you tell me what your bill is exactly in total for the 5 lines and 1 tablet? I am assuming the tablet is $10.00 and each line is $40.00? are you getting any discounts aside from the auto payment/billing?

Hi, I am back again.  I am once again changing my plan to the new unlimited plan at the $30 line fees.  I have a few questions:

Do you notice a significant slow down of speed if the network is busy?  I am here in NY.  Right now the "old" plan I have i do not have that problem.

Again taxes........I am getting a 25% discount on my line fees, will I get taxed on the before or after price of the discount.

Also, seems that the tax link i was looking at there was an increase.  Can you give me an idea what you are paying per line in taxes?

Your help is much appreciated!

In my location, I have never had any slow down, even when well past the threshold, or even on lines always depriortised.
taxes wont change.   I have 3 phones on starter, 2 on the next tier up, same taxes.   (And I also Moved to the new plans)

you have 5 lines is what I am gathering.  I would be the same as well.  Can you share what you are paying in taxes per line if you don't mind?  I would greatly appreciate it!

Thank you in advance!

With the admin fee, which is fixed at almost $2 per line, my per line tax and fees is $4.46.   It actually went down.   My tax on the $40 lines is 5¢ more.

So with the admin fee and taxes and surcharges the total is $4.46?
