System Error when Enrolling Wireless Lines on AT&T Employee and Retiree Self-Service Site
Hi, Everyone --
I recently opened up a second wireless account on AT&T. The account has two phone lines associated with it and I want to enroll this account with both its lines on the DEP self-service site (https://www.att.com/dep/login) so that I can take advantage of my AT&T employee discount.
When I go ahead and try to enroll the account with both lines, I encounter the following message:
System Error -- We are experiencing a temporary system error that prevents us from processing your request. Please wait a few moments and try again later.
Needless to say, I cannot enroll my new wireless account so I cannot take advantage of the discount. I have been trying to enroll for a while now hoping for success but the same error message is reported to me each time.
Is anyone here familiar with this issue? If so, what can I do so I can enroll my new wireless account? Is there a phone number I can call so I can have them apply the discount for me? When I call Customer Service at (800) 331-0500, no one I speak to seems to know how to help me.
Some additional background if it is of any help:
- I already have one account with all of its lines enrolled in the discount; I am trying to enroll my second account.
- I can have up to two wireless accounts, which up to 10 lines on each account, discounted.
Thanks for looking!

Hi there @dergolfkart!
Thanks for being a part of our team!
I would try clearing the cache and cookies on your browser and trying again (CTRL + SHIFT + DELETE).
This system error can usually be resolved this way. If that fails to help I would suggest trying a different browser.
Unfortunately, no one can complete this enrollment for you, it must be completed online at said website.
I appreciate you reaching out on this! All the best!
