Swapping sim cards on unlimited plan and losing credit

Good morning,

Recently, I have been upgrading all of my family members' phones on our newly upgraded unlimited plan. Pretty much all of us were using promotions from at&t.

Such as the trade-in for free promotion for the galaxy s20 FE and some other promotions for reduced pricing.

My question is regarding credit eligibility.

I am wanting to swap sims with another phone on the same plan. I plan to keep paying for the line, as well as the promotional offers and whatnot. I am not getting rid of any type of service or plan.

My question is: will I forfeit my credits if I do this?

We are using the postpaid unlimited elite plan. We have 6 lines on our service. I don't plan on switching providers so I am not concerned with the 30 month payment lock-in.

No, you won’t lose any credit. You can use a phone on any line you want. As long as the line with the promotion stays in service, you get the promotion. It does not matter what phone is being used on that line.

Wow thank you so much!

I've been reading the forum and have been seeing very unclear responses for similar questions.

Thank you for the clarity, I appreciate it.

You and your family stay safe and healthy out there!
