Regarding fake promises and false billing
I'm a customer of other mobile network. After seeing an offer on AT&T official website - $1000 credit for google pixel 7pro with eligible trade-in, I thought to shift to AT&T if the price is low. I went to the store to check about this and the representative said he gonna waive activation fee too. And he said my monthly payment would be 25$ for unlimited data. Since there is 1000$ credit, he subtracted 1000$ from phone's price directly($1040.00 - $1000.00) and said I will be charged around 1$ each month for the new phone. Now total is $26 and some cents for both new phone and unlimited data. The AT&T representative calculated himself and shown the calculation and said I will be paying 26$ each month.
I felt it was good and ported to AT&T from other network and paid money(total tax amount = $86.00). I handed over my trade-in phone to them with neatly packed and working state. After about 2 weeks, they changed their words and said that I need to activation fee which is of 35$ and monthly payment would be 34$ (instead of 25$) which makes 70$ all around.
After 25days the bills showed that I owe them 163.00$ and when we questioned them about this, they started adding all irrelevant prices without our consent.
And threatened that they will calling police on us. They locked me for 3 years with their false promises and fake calculations.
I completely lost trust on AT&T after seeing their vulgar behaviors with customers. I need my old phone which I returned(exchanged) with the new phone and all the refund which I paid. And I can return the new phone. I don't want to continue with AT&T anymore.

This is a public forum for AT&T customers to assist other AT&T customers. As such, you should probably edit your post to remove your phone number unless you like unsolicited phone calls from people who know your name (userid).
Also, as such, except for a small staff of AT&T employees working under the user id "ATThelp", we're just customers and can only offer advice. ATThelp may come by and offer to communicate with you via DM. Using DM you can provide sensitive information.
Without more details, we cannot offer a complete opinion about your situation. $25/month is pretty low for service. The +$1/month for a phone can happen. Anything else we'd need more details on? Did they tack on NextUp? Insurance? Both can be removed.

They didn't done anything. They are behaving very rude to us. I need some help from higher authority. If this continues, we are ready to file a complaint and sue if necessary.
At&T being a large organization and by having 1000's of stores all around America, behaving in this way with false information and robbing money from customers is not at all a good way.

What the heck does that mean? Your first bill is going to be higher due to one time fees, not all discounts have started yet and you are billed for more than one month of service. Once your discounts start, your bill should be as promised. If you had any extras added such as insurance or Next Up, those are optional and can be cancelled. In any event, you are not on a contract. You can leave ATT at anytime, your only obligation is to pay off the phone. However, if you leave you will forfeit the phone trade in credits. Too bad you didn’t read the promotional requirements when you saw the offer on the website.

How the (Edited per community guidelines) the activation fee will be 60$ ??
I didn't opted for any add-ons and they added it for 24$.
They said it is 1$ per month for equipment and added 29$ in the bill.
And for the plan they said 25$ and added 34$.
I know the prices might be high on first month. But what the (Edited per community guidelines) is this? Forfeiting trade-in credits were not mentioned on the website. Instead of teaching me what's there on website, please train the representatives properly to give true info to customers.
And prices will be higher ?? How much -- doubled as in my case??
You are saying that as a one-time fee, but the representative said it will be directly waived.
Whom to believe ?

There's no way one phone line is $25 a month. It just doesn't work that way. The only service plans that come anywhere near that price are for firstnet which is provided by AT&T.
If you had read the advertisement online, did you read all of the advertisement?
Credits on promotions don't start for 3 months.
(photo below is a sample for the Samsung offer. Very similar to the pixel offer)

In Cross referencing some information none of it is making sense. The pixel 7 Pro is $940 which is $26 and change every month for 36 months.. the current offer on the pro is $800 off over 36 months in the form of Bill credits each month. I don't know if this was ever a $1,000 offer. It may have been. Offers depend on the date you buy your phone.
You should probably read all of the information on the pixel deal that is currently posted. It should be very similar if not the same

The line already have 5 people. And I got added to existing line.
If the payment is getting waived off as he said, why is it on the bill ?
I'm paying 25$ per month previously with other network for unlimited data. Since the representative said those things, I shifted to AT&T.
If the costs were those high, why would anyone shifts to other network? We are not that dumb..
$1000 credits offer is what I got on dec 10th 2022. I have valid proofs for that. Today the offer might have been changed. But before posting something, kindly check the info.
Within not even 25 days, the bill is 162$. What's this ?
As you calculated 26$ for 36 months - on that day the cost is $1040. He removed 1000$(credits) from 1040$ and that 40$ difference amount, he splitted on 36 months - because of which it is 1$ some cents. This is calculation which AT&T representative did and that's the reason I bought that phone.
