purchase blocker

in a post before it was said that the purchase blocker would not stop certain types of purchases . There is a scam going around now where the person replies yes to some random question and that is used as authorization to bill the phone lines. How do we block that type of attack, because I am not going to pay for it if it happens, if we did not authorize it, and a simple yes to a random question does not signify that we granted it.

Thanks

Geoff

Thanks @gsgrotz for reaching out to the AT&T community for answers!

When using and managing the AT&T purchase blocker, it helps prevent and block credit card purchases made from a smart phone app store or third-party that sends the charge directly to your wireless account.

For any unknown calls or texts that is not registered to your mobile device contacts or phone list, should be avoided at all times. It highly recommended not respond nor provide any personal account info such as your social security number, password, or credit card information.

Feel free to visit our Unwanted Calls/ Text Article  to report any suspicions notifications so we can further resolve the matter.

We hope this information helps, and you have a awesome day!
