Prepaid SIM - balance shows 300 to be paid after purchase of SIM
Hello,
I purchased the prepaid SIM with the $25 / month plan paying $301. My account shows that I have to pay $300.
How do I activate the SIM as I have already paid the $300 for the plan upfront when I purchased the SIM.
Thanks.
P.S. The SIM has been delivered.

You must verify your phone will work!

These notes may help.
AT&T Prepaid $300 for 12 months Promo (ADVICE WHEN SIGNING UP)
After signing up for AT&T Prepaid and the $300 promo offer and having issues with activation:
1. Sign up via website and fill in all appropriate information including porting info, shipping address, credit card, etc. SIM card may be shipped overnight via FedEx.
2. Once you receive your SIM card and have your phone ready, call 866 975 0050 to activate via phone and have your AT&T Order # handy.
4. Explain you'd like to activate your service and provide phone number, SIM card and IMEI. The agent will then ask you for payment to activate service.
5. \*\*THIS IS IMPORTANT\*\* To avoid getting double charged, tell them you've already provided that when you ordered and tell them they can do this via your AT&T Order #. Provide that to them and do NOT provide a credit/debit card to them.
6. If they claim they can't do this, ask to speak with a supervisor or someone else. Your account will be activated and within 30 minutes or so the payment of $300 + taxes will get charged to your credit card you provided during the initial order. Your service will not work until this payment is applied, but in my experience it took anywhere from 5 min to 25 min.
7. Once this is complete, you can setup your account online and manage your account via the website: [https://www.paygonline.com/websc/loginPage.html](https://www.paygonline.com/websc/loginPage.html)
If you provided a credit card number and end up getting charged twice, call the AT&T Payments/Refunds line at: 866 608 3007 and they will look up your account and process the refund.

Hey there @RamanGanapathy, we'll be happy to help you sort this out.
You can activate your prepaid SIM card by using our prepaid activation portal and entering your SIM number, IMEI number and service ZIP code. Additionally, when did you make this payment? Does it reflect in your account history? We'll be able to see what's going on with that information.
Please share the results with us here.

Thanks, Dylan. I have activated the SIM. However, when I make a call, I am unable to connect and I get a message on the display saying 'Unable to connect'.
I paid on the 13th of Aug. and when I go to 'Account History' and choose 'Payment Details Incl Taxes', I get the message stating 'No records were found for the selected date range and history type'
Thanks

Thank you for keeping us updated, @RamanGanapathy.
What's the make and model of your device? If it isn't on our list of compatible devices, than you'll be unable to use it on our network. If your phone is listed there, then please try using our device supporter to select your phone and follow the steps to reset your network settings.
When you go to your prepaid account overview, does it show you having a plan or just a balance of $300? This will help us explore our options about this further.
Please share the results of the troubleshooting with us here, along with that information.

Thank you all for getting back. I check with my credit card issuer and looks like there wasn't a charge on the card. So paying online sorted out the plan issue.
However, then the issue was with the device (Samsung M33). Though there was network connectivity, the device wasn't recognized. Bought a compatible device and am set now.
Thanks
