We can help you with your billing question, @Dmarkivv755!

If you were an AT&T customer prior to relocating to Texas and decided to upgrade your phone then you may need to follow these instructions to change your address.

Location specifics are important. When you move, make sure you change the billing address for all your accounts, including wireless. You'll also have to update the primary place of use address for each wireless user or device.

Also, if you were recently visiting another state with your new cell phone or you're anywhere near the border of Texas then it is likely that your phone is periodically registering, or more precisely, giving a location update through nearby towers to the phone network.

Some of the nearest towers can be located in a neighboring state when your phone communicates its information to the network.

We hope this info helps!

Phone bought in Texas, but is your account service/billing address in another state?

This is a public forum of customers. To see if we could help you understand your bill, more info would be needed.

Your taxes and fees are set to your billing address and Place of Primary Use (PPU)not where you purchased the phone as noted on your account info. When I moved from Maryland to Florida and change my info taxes and fees went up.
