Payment won’t go through

why won’t my payment go through please help

It looks like more than your payment won't go through, it looks like your account no longer exists.

Or you are not logging in with your 10-digit phone number and alpha numeric password

When did you last have and use service? If it's been more than 60 days since you refilled your Prepaid Plan, and it has not had regular refills, a zero balance for 60 days means your account would have been closed.

We'd like to thank our ACE formerlyknownas for their response.

  • Are you currently in the U.S.? If you're outside of the country, you will be unable to access your account information.
  • When was the last time you were able to use and access your account? If you don’t make any payments, your AT&T PREPAID service shuts off 60 days after your balance expires.

In the meantime, you can check your balance by dialing *777# from your AT&T PREPAID phone. The text will give you your account balance and other account details like your data balance and package info.

Still won’t accept payment contacted customer service and they were very unhelpful I just don’t understand why it’s so complicated to make a payment

I am facing the same issue. I tried all my credit cards and debit cards, same issue with all of them. I went to AT&T store -2 of them, they suggested on making payments online or over the phone as once payment is processed, it will not be adjusted or refunded, and they cannot guarantee that the amount will be adjusted against the prepaid bill (crazy right?). I asked them if they had AT&T prepaid refill card(at the AT&T Store), they do not have that as well (really??).

I am unable to receive calls or texts and my outgoing is also blocked. Tried paying through chat support and phone pay, they get the same issue with payments. They are asking me to reach out to my bank (which one? all the banks? all cards are not working? really? it is working at gas station. not sure what's going on with AT&T). I tried to get it right for 3 days - thinking that issue with server or something at AT&T. Same issue online, phone and chat. AT&T store is useless.

I cannot afford to miss important calls and notifications. I am moving to different provider. Been with AT&T for over 7 years, feels sad to let it go this way.

I guess AT&T is pushing all its customers out to different carriers this way. AT&T my current mobile number is 860-371-9285. do not reach out to me after this week, as it would be too late.

same issue even with Paypal. Paypal is accepting the card, but ATT is not..
