Paid phones being billed

In June bought phones when bill came I paid the 2 phones but for the last 6 months I’m still being billed.  Contacted 5 times got a credit but still being billed.  ATT

Not enough information.

1.  What phones did you buy

2.  and how much did you pay upfront? 

 AT&T stores dont sell you a phone without putting you on an installment plan. But you would have paid sales tax up front on the full retail value of the phones. You also would be required to maintain service until the phones are paid off, and you would be charged for service.

I'm not sure why you think you should not be charged.

This information should have been on your receipt and should be on your bill every month. Have you read both the receipt and the bill?

I want to express my disappointment toward the billion dollar company. They sold me a trade in promotion, after 8 months no signs of promo credits. I’ve been talking to different representatives all the time. Today I just gave up.

And what have you been told so far? Are you on a qualified plan? Did you trade in phones within the 30-day trade-in window?   Did you make sure the phones that you traded and qualified for the promotion?

Yes to all.  I paid the phones balance listed on bill.  The next month it showed phone paid and no extra changes.  The bill after that month the monthly phone payments were back on the bill.  When you go in to payment history you can see the phone payments they’re listed separate from my auto payment.
