No credits for June/July online promo
In June/2021 I saw a promo online on the ATT page to get $250 credit per device if we moved over from a competitor and the limit was $500 per account. We were trying to move 4 lines from a competitor to ATT online, but for some reason we were unable to transfer the devices from one account to another, so we called in for help. We moved over 4 lines, and per promo and per the representative on the phone, we should receive our credits in increments from December 2021 on..
Now ATT does not want to apply the credits because NO ONE knows what the promo was called(???). Would anyone know what was this promo name or have a screen shot of it?

The credit was and still. Is online only. Using a phone rep voided the deal.

Yes, I understand what you mean that using a phone rep defeat the purpose, but we were unable to transfer the lines on-line. We had to be on the phone with Verizon and ATT at the same time to make sure we were not missing anything. And we did everything correctly, it sounded like there was a glitch..
Anyway, those calls were recorded and we were told credit would be provided in December.

Placing over the phone doesn't merely "defeat the purpose," but makes you ineligible. The promo is for online orders only. If you didn't place your order online (for whatever reason), you didn't qualify.
Yes, that's what the rep should have told you at the time. At this point, all you can do is file a BBB complaint. Those get escalated to someone who has the power to apply the promotion (or something similar) regardless of whether you qualify.
