My phone bill is incorrect over charging me $1000. My phone has been shut off Bill still not fixed

Att new customer wireless (contract as  well as DIRECTV) I’m am having  A similar issue  that others seem to be having with AT&T. With my BILL  I always had good luck with them never had a problem and now ever since they have merged with DIRECTV ( which my family has had for years mind you) they are the worst I thought that it couldn’t get any worse than Sprint I was wrong: AT&T is a full of lazy incompetent liars and not only that they are unlawfully scamming us out of our rights and breaking their own contracts that we have signed with them.  my bill has been incorrect since the day of activation since I signed the contract and now they have shut my phone off without a re-submitted a corrected bill they expect me to pay on an amount that is almost $1000 over what I actually owe them they cannot turn my phone back on I am without a phone now I’m taking out an arbitration immediately I have never seen such a disgusting company and all of my life they told me I would not have to pay for this bill until it was corrected and I would not have to receive any interruptions to my phone until my bill has been corrected and sent to me.  my bill has NOT BEEN  corrected yet and I signed the contract with them in May it is now the beginning of September I have spent countless hours on the phone with them every month and I have dealt with them hanging up on me passing me off to other people not giving me a straight answer when I do talk to somebody apparently all they do is lie. I’m literally in disbelief at the moment that this is even happening.

You have a number of avenues to remedy wrong bills.  Just not paying isn’t one of them, as it results is suspension, which ATT is very much within right to do if not paid.  

File a BBB complaint and someone will contact you.
